These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Future Action Summit website, applications, registrations, and participation in Future Action Summit events. By accessing this website, submitting an application, paying a fee, accepting a place, or attending an event, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Future Action Summit
Future Action Summit brings together emerging leaders, creatives, professionals, and changemakers to advance youth-led action for a sustainable future. The 2026 summit is scheduled for 3–6 December 2026 in Sydney, Australia. Official information and communications are issued through futureactionsummit.org and authorized Future Action Summit channels.
2. Eligibility and Applications
Unless a specific program states otherwise, applicants must be between 16 and 45 years old, meet the published eligibility requirements, and hold or be able to obtain a valid passport and any required travel authorization. You must provide complete, accurate, and current information. False, misleading, incomplete, or unverifiable information may result in disqualification or cancellation of participation.
3. Application and Registration Fees
The application fee for Fully Funded and Partially Funded consideration is USD 19.99. It is non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the selection result. Any other registration or package fee will be clearly shown before payment. Payment may be processed by third-party providers; Future Action Summit does not store complete payment-card details. Paying a fee does not guarantee selection, a visa, travel approval, or admission to the event.
4. Selection
Selection is competitive and merit-based. Applications may be reviewed by an independent selection panel using published and program-relevant criteria. Future Action Summit may request identity, eligibility, travel, or other supporting documents. Selection decisions are final, subject to correction of administrative errors, and no applicant is guaranteed a funded or partially funded place.
5. Participant Categories and Inclusions
Future Action Summit may offer Fully Funded, Partially Funded, Self-Funded, Forum Access, or other categories. The inclusions and exclusions for your category are those stated in your official confirmation or purchase description. Unless expressly included, participants are responsible for their own airfare, accommodation, meals, local transport, visa costs, insurance, taxes, and personal expenses.
6. Visas, Travel, and Insurance
Invitation Letters will be issued once the selection process for all other categories is fully completed. This approach ensures consistency, transparency, and fairness across all applicant categories.
7. Attendance and Conduct
Participants are expected to attend the full program, behave professionally and respectfully, follow venue and safety rules, and avoid harassment, discrimination, unlawful conduct, or disruption. Future Action Summit may deny entry or remove a participant whose conduct threatens safety, dignity, or the integrity of the program. Removal for misconduct does not create a right to a refund.
8. Program and Event Changes
Speakers, sessions, schedules, venues, dates, delivery format, and program content may change when reasonably necessary. Future Action Summit will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes. It is not responsible for participant travel, accommodation, visa, or other personal costs arising from a change. Cancellations, postponements, and eligible refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
9. Photography, Recording, and Media
Events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded. By participating, you authorize Future Action Summit to use event photographs, video, audio, and submitted headshots for event documentation, news, reports, websites, social media, and promotional materials, without additional compensation, where permitted by law. If you require a reasonable accommodation or have a specific recording concern, contact the team before the event.
10. Intellectual Property
The Future Action Summit name, logos, website content, event materials, graphics, and publications are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit them without prior written permission. Speakers and contributors retain rights in their own materials unless agreed otherwise.
11. Privacy
Personal information submitted through applications, registrations, payments, and event participation is handled in accordance with the Future Action Summit Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Services
The website may link to or use third-party payment, form, email, hosting, travel, venue, analytics, or social-media services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Future Action Summit is not responsible for third-party availability, security, content, or decisions.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Participation and travel are undertaken at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Action Summit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, travel costs, or loss caused by third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability may lawfully be limited, the total liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid directly for that service.
14. Suspension and Termination
Future Action Summit may suspend website access, cancel an application, or revoke participation for breach of these Terms, fraud, unlawful conduct, serious safety concerns, or misuse of the event or brand.
15. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect program, legal, or operational changes. The revised date will appear at the top of this page. Where practical, material changes affecting registered participants will also be communicated directly.
