Refund Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This Refund Policy applies to application, registration, and participation payments made to Future Action Summit. Please read it before submitting an application or completing a purchase.
1. Application Fees
The USD 19.99 application fee for Fully Funded and Partially Funded consideration is non-refundable and non-transferable, whether or not an applicant is selected, accepts an offer, obtains a visa, or attends the event. The fee covers application administration and review and does not guarantee selection.
2. Fully Funded and Partially Funded Categories
Any application, confirmation, registration, administration, processing, or invitation-letter fee connected with a funded or partially funded category is non-refundable and non-transferable unless Future Action Summit expressly agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires a refund.
3. Self-Funded and Forum Access Registrations
A participant who paid the full standard package price in a single payment may request a cash refund or Future Action Summit credit voucher by submitting a complete written request at least 45 calendar days before the event begins. For Future Action Summit 2026, scheduled to begin on 3 December 2026, the request deadline is 19 October 2026.
Discounted, promotional, early-bird, instalment, or specially priced packages are not eligible for a cash refund or transfer unless the purchase offer expressly states otherwise. Approved refunds may be reduced by non-refundable administration, payment-processing, currency-conversion, and third-party charges. Requests received after the deadline and nonattendance are not refundable.
4. How to Request a Refund or Credit
Email hello@futureactionsummit.org with the subject line Refund Request – Future Action Summit. Include:
- your full name and the email used for registration;
- order or transaction number;
- participant category and payment date;
- whether you request an eligible cash refund or credit voucher;
- the reason for the request; and
- any relevant supporting documents.
A request is not approved until Future Action Summit confirms approval in writing.
5. Processing Times
Approved credit vouchers are generally issued within 15 business days. Approved cash refunds may take up to 30 business days and will normally be returned to the original payment method. Banks, card networks, and payment processors may require additional time, which is outside our control.
6. Credit Vouchers
Unless the voucher states otherwise, a Future Action Summit credit voucher:
- is valid for 12 months from the issue date;
- may be used only by the original recipient;
- has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred;
- may be applied only to an eligible Future Action Summit event or program; and
- retains any unused balance until expiry.
7. Visa, Travel, and Personal Arrangements
Visa refusal, immigration delay, lack of travel documents, flight changes, illness, personal circumstances, or inability to travel do not create a refund right outside this Policy. Invitation-letter fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants are responsible for visas, passports, flights, accommodation, insurance, and other personal arrangements, and Future Action Summit is not responsible for related cancellation costs.
8. Event Changes, Postponement, Cancellation, and Force Majeure
Reasonable changes to speakers, sessions, schedules, venue, program content, or delivery format do not automatically qualify for a refund.
If the event is postponed, Future Action Summit may transfer the registration to the new date or offer an eligible credit. Any refund option will be communicated in the postponement notice and will remain subject to applicable law.
If Future Action Summit cancels the event without rescheduling it, eligible registration amounts will be refunded or credited as announced, less non-recoverable third-party charges where permitted by law. Application, administration, processing, and invitation-letter fees remain non-refundable unless the announcement or applicable law states otherwise.
Where performance is prevented by events beyond reasonable control—including natural disaster, severe weather, epidemic or public-health restriction, war, civil unrest, government action, transport disruption, venue closure, or similar force majeure—requests will be considered case by case. Future Action Summit is not liable for participant airfare, accommodation, visa, insurance, or other personal costs.
9. Funded Travel Reimbursements
Where an official Fully Funded offer includes eligible travel reimbursement, the participant must follow the instructions and limits in the award confirmation. Reimbursement forms are normally issued after successful event participation and may require tickets, receipts, boarding passes, and complete bank details. Approved reimbursements may take approximately four to eight weeks after receipt of complete documentation. A travel reimbursement is not a refund of a registration payment.
10. Nonattendance and Removal
No refund is available for nonattendance, late arrival, early departure, incomplete documents, missed deadlines, denial of entry caused by participant conduct or documentation, or removal for breach of the Terms and Conditions or event rules.
11. Chargebacks and Duplicate Payments
If you believe a payment was duplicated or unauthorized, contact us promptly before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate. Confirmed duplicate payments will be corrected. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in cancellation of an application or registration.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy for legal, payment, or operational reasons. The latest revision date will appear at the top. The policy in effect when a payment was made will generally govern that payment unless applicable law requires otherwise.
